Going to the annual Tourette's ball in London was the turning point of my design project — to produce a public awareness campaign that created empathy with this frequently misunderstood disorder. One woman explained her tics as feeling like she wanted to sneeze — she could resist if she tried but it felt so much better to let it out. My resulting campaign was then nominated for a prize at the D&AD Student Design Awards. Click image to enlarge. |
